About Ronita

Ronita is a creative artist and a proud graduate of California State University, Northridge, where she majored in Art with a specialization in Ceramics. Her passion for handbuilding allows her to channel deep emotions and ideas into her craft. In addition to ceramics, Ronita possesses expertise in acrylic and oil painting, as well as Farsi calligraphy. In 2020, she became a self-published author with her children’s book, Shall I Share Little Teddy Too?, which is available on Amazon. As a dedicated mother of two, Ronita is widely recognized for her patience and enjoys engaging with children through art and ceramics.

Paint and Pottery Corner Studio

Ronita’s studio, the Paint and Pottery Corner, holds official certification from the Play Make Create Academy of the “MERI CHERRY” curriculum. The studio is an Art Studio specializing in “Process Art,” an approach that emphasizes the experience of making and doing rather than focusing on the finished product. In addition to pottery, the studio offers a variety of art classes designed to inspire creativity and self-expression.

Artist Statement

Ronita describes her art as a quiet refuge amidst chaos. She finds inspiration in the connection between her mind and hands, creating pieces that are simple yet profound in the messages they convey and the dialogues they spark. Her goal is to craft art that nurtures a sense of peace within the inner child, reminding individuals to slow down and appreciate the beauty of everyday life. Each creation reflects her inner thoughts and emotions, and she regards working with clay as a meditative process that calms the mind and focuses attention on the present. Ronita also takes great joy in working with young children, fostering their creativity through art. She is passionate about teaching and nurturing their imaginations, guiding them as they express themselves artistically. Watching their confidence grow and seeing the world through their eyes brings her immense fulfillment as she helps them explore their artistic potential.
